It is a not-for-profit corporation, established 1980 in New York City by a group of theatre artists under the direction of Nicolas Coppola, and dedicated to preserve and present Classic Puppet Theater entertainment, with special emphasis on the hand-carved wooden Marionette.

PUPPETWORKS plays are as faithful as possible, in language and situations, to source material primarily Children's Literature and International Folk and Fairytales.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US?

".tastefully done staying true to the story yet adding humor and creativity. The length and pace of the show was appropriate, the puppets and scenery delightful. The explanation and demonstration of the Marionettes was informative and a wonderful introduction to the show." - Packer Collegiate School, Brooklyn
